A New Chapter at Primal Origin Holistics
Introducing The Prime 2.0
If you've been on this journey with me for a while, you already know that I don't make changes for the sake of making changes. Every iteration of this practice has come from somewhere real, from something I learned, something I felt, or something I saw that I couldn't unsee. This one is no different.
I just returned from Guatemala.
I spent time on cacao farms, in the homes of farming families, and in the kind of mornings that stay with you long after you leave. I woke up at sunrise with the rooster. I lit a sacred fire. I roasted cacao beans, peeled them by hand, and ground them on a stone into the morning's ceremonial drink while songs were sung over them. I watched people move through their days in genuine connection with the land, with natural rhythms, with each other, with the earth beneath their feet. Not as a practice or a retreat or a wellness trend. Just as life.
Coming home, I felt the contrast sharply. As westerners we are largely cut off from those rhythms. We move fast, we fragment our attention, and we outsource our wellbeing to systems that were never designed to actually restore us. That's not news to anyone reading this. But sitting with it in Guatemala, in the quiet of those mornings, made something clear to me about the work I want to be doing and how I want to be doing it.
A new iteration of myself and The Prime 2.0 is my answer to that.
What's Changing and Why
The most important change is structural. Every session now moves through the full practice, yoga, massage, sound therapy, and ceremony, every time. I've added fifteen minutes to make that flow feel complete rather than rushed, bringing sessions to two hours and fifteen minutes total. This wasn't about adding more. It was about making the session feel rhythmic, the way a good day feels when you're actually present in it.
I'm also integrating complimentary CBD massage oil and high potency CBD spot treatment into every session from the luxury CBD company, Cause Medic. I chose these products because I believe in them, full stop. The anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving properties are real and well-documented, and my clients deserve the best tools available, not as an upsell, but as a baseline. As a $10 add-on, I will also be offering a full-spectrum CBD wellness shot for the beginning of your session OR to take home with you.
I will also be adding in other high quality products for you to continue taking care of yourself beyond the session. These include CBD muscle rub, a two-step CBD muscle detox soak, herbal tinctures, and the highest quality cacao available on the market.
Which brings me to the price. Sessions move from $120 to $130 non-cash, $120 cash. I want to be straightforward about this because I know how much your dollar matters right now. I don't raise prices without raising value, and I never will. The additional time, the CBD products, and the deepened structure of the session represent a genuine increase in what you receive. The price reflects that and nothing more.
One more thing I want to address directly: there is no longer tipping here, and there never will be again. I know that tipping culture in the wellness space creates an awkward moment at the end of what should be a deeply restorative experience, and I've never wanted that for you. My pricing is set to reflect the full value of what I offer, and I mean that. If you want to put extra dollars toward something, I'd much rather you spend them on a CBD wellness shot, an herbal tincture, a bath soak, or a block of cacao that continues taking care of you long after you leave the table. That feels a lot better to me than an obligatory gratuity, and I hope it does to you too.
Cacao Deserves More Than a Trend
I need to talk about cacao for a moment, because I think it's getting lost in the noise.
Ceremonial cacao has become a hot ticket item in the wellness world, and like most things that get popular fast, a lot of what's being sold and offered isn't the real thing. It's extracted from its context, stripped of its meaning, and packaged for a market that doesn't fully understand what it's actually holding.
What I experienced in Guatemala was different. The care that goes into a single batch, the hands that touch it, the intention that gets ground into it before it ever reaches a cup, that's not something you can replicate by buying bulk cacao powder online and calling it ceremonial.
I source directly from agroforest farms in Guatemala, through relationships built with the farming families and women's collectives who do this work. And I'm offering something I'm calling the Cacao Hour, a dedicated session where we slow down, learn about the history and health benefits of cacao, make an elixir together in the kitchen, and close with a simple ceremony. The magic of cacao isn't mysterious. It's mostly about intention, about the quality of attention you bring to it. The Cacao Hour is designed to give you that foundation so you can carry it forward on your own.
This cacao is available in 1/4 lb blocks for $15 or 1/2 lb blocks for $30.
Going Deeper When You're Ready
For clients who are ready to go further, I'm also introducing the Ceremonial Soul-Session, a distinct category of medicine work drawing from traditional Mesoamerican healing arts I spent the last year learning through direct study and reciprocal relationship with wisdom keepers in Central America. Limpia (energy clearing), spirit bathing, sobada (traditional abdominal massage), and cacao ceremony, held together in a single experience. This one is available by eligibility only, for clients with an established relationship within a regular practice. More on that on the services page of my website or you can speak with me directly.
Why This Matters to Me
There are real gaps in our healthcare system. I don't think that's a controversial statement. What I do in this practice is my active response to those gaps, not a workaround, not a supplement, but a genuine attempt to offer people something the system isn't giving them: time, presence, skilled hands, and the kind of care that treats the whole person.
I think about that every time I set a price, every time I add a service, every time I decide what belongs in this space and what doesn't. My hope with every session is that you leave feeling the way I felt on those Guatemalan mornings, restored, unhurried, connected to something real.
My hope is that every client feels as cared for as one of those single cacao beans, held with intention from the very beginning.
That's what The Prime 2.0 is built around.
I'll see you in the room.
With love, Benny
